A Theoretical Integration of User Satisfaction and Technology Acceptance

Important User Information: Remote access to EBSCO's databases is permitted to patrons of subscribing institutions accessing from remote locations for personal, non-commercial use. However, remote access to EBSCO's databases from non-subscribing institutions is not allowed if the purpose of the use is for commercial gain through cost reduction or avoidance for a non-subscribing institution. Abstract: Background: The nursing process system NPS is used to establish the nursing process involving assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation in solving the health problems of patients. Objectives: The factors influencing the use of the NPS by nurses were analyzed based on user satisfaction and technology acceptance within the 3Q service quality, information quality, and system quality model. Methods: In this cross-sectional quantitative study, the valid responses of nurses to a questionnaire were obtained; these nurses worked at eight hospitals affiliated with public organizations in Taiwan.

The purpose of this study is to propose an extended model of technology acceptance model TAM in the use of financial technology Fintech in the context of Islamic philanthropy, especially by studying and exploring the role of trust, image and religiosity in TAM, and to provide policy recommendation for the authorized organizations in Indonesia regarding several crucial factors that need to be considered so that Indonesian Muslims are willing to use Fintech for philanthropic purposes. Online surveys were conducted to collect the data, of which respondents have completed and returned the questionnaire. Multiple linear regression model and multi-variate analysis of variance are applied to test the statistical hypotheses. This study supports the theory of reasoned action and the TAM. In which, the relationship between perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness with TAM is determined by trust and religiosity. It is worth to note the limitation of this study lies in the sampling technique and data collection. Indonesia is a fast archipelago country and consists of 34 provinces, but not all of the provinces are represented in the sample.

In general, perceptions of information systems IS success have been investigated within two primary research streams--the user satisfaction literature and the technology acceptance literature. These two approaches have been developed in parallel and have not been reconciled or integrated.

This paper examines factors influencing post-adoption expectations toward an e-learning system. Following the expectation-confirmation based information system continuance theory, we use perceived usefulness as the surrogate of post-adoption expectations. Then, we propose a research model based on the prior literature where we hypothesize a number of factors along with the confirmation of initial expectations affect perceived usefulness. The results suggest that post-adoption expectation is driven by confirmation of initial expectations, perceived control beliefs, and perceived system quality. Subjective norm does not have significant impact on post-adoption expectations.

In this cross-sectional quantitative study, the valid responses of nurses to a questionnaire were obtained; these nurses worked at eight hospitals affiliated with public organizations in Taiwan. Structural equation modeling was used to analyze information quality, system quality, service quality, user satisfaction, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, perceived enjoyment, behavioral attitude, and intention after the nurses had used the NPS system for more than 1 month.

The world has changed a lot in the past years. The rapid advances in technology and the changing of the communication channels have changed the way people work and, for many, where do they work from. The Internet and mobile technology, the two most dynamic technological forces in modern information and communications technology ICT are converging into one ubiquitous mobile Internet service, which will change our way of both doing business and dealing with our daily routine activities. The acceptance of Information Technology IT has become a fundamental part of the research plan for most organizations Igbaria I In IT research, numerous theories are used to understand users' adoption of new technologies. Each of these models has sought to identify the factors which influence a citizen's intention or actual use of information technology. Drawing on the UTAUT model and Flow Theory, this research composes a new hybrid theoretical framework to identify the factors affecting the acceptance and use of Mobile Internet -as an ICT application- in a consumer context.

It contained 11 constructs measured by 38 items and had shown satisfactory psychometric properties. However, the length of the questionnaire increased respondent burden and limited its utilization. The research method included 1 a sequential item-reduction strategy maximizing internal consistency, 2 convergent and discriminant validity analysis based on confirmative factor analysis, and 3 an expert review of resultant items. Data previously collected for developing the original STAM questionnaire were used to create the brief version. The data were collected from 1, community-dwelling individuals aged 55 and older in Hong Kong. Internal consistency and construct validity of the shortened questionnaire were examined. Two experts were invited for reviewing content validity.

However, the global adoption of the Internet creates new interests in utilizing TAM in e-commerce and the post-consumption intention, especially in emerging markets. Data was collected from online customers via a web-based survey in Vietnam. Particular contribution of the results is that perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, fairness, trust and the quality of the customer interface have direct or indirect impacts on customer satisfaction and customer loyalty. Moreover, in emerging markets, trust was outlined as the strongest factor contributing to customer satisfaction and leading to customer loyalty.
